Program Manager

Job Purpose:

In a team based environment the Program Manager is responsible for overall customer service and satisfaction including quoting, delivery, quality, flexibility, communication and responsiveness for assigned accounts. The Program Manager’s duties will consist of but not limited to:

Nature of Duties/Responsibilities:

• • Coordinate quote activity and quote follow up
  • Order receipt, coordinated schedule and shop load and order entry alignment
  • Ensure customer quality codes and delivery requirements are properly understood and documented
  • Manage the activities of a cross functional team(s) to ensure completion of the project on time. 
  •  Review status with the customer and the management team. 
  •  Understand and drive written understanding of projects and order term with customer and the plant support team.
  • Provide support / communication with the customer and the outside sales team. 
  • Maintain good customer relationships to avoid escalations. 
  • Drive effective meetings with both internal and external teams. 
  • Timely resolution of issues and escalation as soon as it is required to avoid delays in project completion. 
  • Ensure timely implementation of ECOs and ensure clear communication of part number / revision to customer and internal teams.
  • Ensure proper closure of customer related A/R issues.
  • Responsible for all aspects of a program at the site, serving as the site liaison between the company and the customer to ensure customer needs are met.
  • Ensures all program-related decisions are guided by the terms and conditions of the customer's contract.
  • Understands all aspects required to launch a new program or order.
  • Responsible for customer management and satisfaction, order management and delivery, revenue achievement, business issue resolution (A/R, E&O material issues, PPV, credit, RMA’s), and business development.
  • Understands Sanmina offerings for vertical integration and directs customer appropriately towards additional or alternative Sanmina products or services. 

Education and Experience:

• • Bachelor’s Degree or AA and equivalent job experience
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Office; Excel, Word, PowerPoint
  • Contract manufacturing experience desired
  • Experience in PCB fabrication is a plus
  • Demonstrated leadership skills and ability to multitask
  • Minimum of 2 - 5 years of Program Manager experience
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Team Player able to work independently & quickly while under pressure in a fast paced environment

Salary range: $75,000 - $88,000
