Sanitas is Hiring a HR Benefits Administrator Near Doral, FL

The primary responsibility includes administering employee benefits packages. This includes the administration of health insurance, retirement plans, leave policies, ADA and other fringe benefits. The administrator is responsible for provide support to the annual enrollment period, reconcilement of employee benefits, claim processes and communication with employee related benefits.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Ensure that benefits programs comply with federal law to Include ERISA ( Employee Retirement Income Security Act) ACA (Affordable Care Act) and all relevant state and local law respective to the region that the incumbent supports.
  • Maintain accurate recordkeeping of employee benefits to include enrollments , claims information and compliance documentation.
  • Communication and Employee Assistance
  • Benefits Reconcilement
  • Leave and ADA Management

Responsibilities Support Actions

  • Work closely with broker and Payroll and Benefits Manager for application of the law. Provide support during multistate annual open enrollment, assist with the federal requirement of ACA Forms preparation, implementation of benefits and application of law during procedures
  • Weekly review of benefit batch changes in benefits administration or HRIS system. Enter claims for STD, LTD and potential Life AD&D claims.
  • Conduct benefit orientation explaining benefit options, provide changes to plans during open enrolment and assisting with inquiries to concerns of benefit related questions. This includes responding to inquires via Ask Here in HRIS system and life events in a timely manger.
  • Maintenance of accurate benefits records, enrollment data and compliance documentation.
  • Verifying employee and employer contribution are accurate and in establishment with year rates. Reconcilement between payroll and benefit invoices.
  • Assisting with the administration of employee leave and accommodations for disabilities. This includes the management of time off respective to each company. This involves communication and documentation while serving as the liaison between employee, HRBP, and manager.

Expected result

  • Comply with Legal Compliance and avoid legal consequences to include penalties, fines and potential litigation. The administrator needs to prevents litigation by staying abreast of changes in legislation and making necessary adjustments to benefit programs.
  • Ensure quality of enrollment and reconcilement of benefits between payroll and invoice. Process claims in accordance with benefit eligibility.
  • Assurance that employees understand benefits and facilitates the resolution of potential inquires or claims.
  • Crucial to ensure the compliance of various laws. Accurate reporting to government agencies , ensure accurate records support for the effective manage of the benefits plants.
  • Accuracy in benefit related data, enrollment information and claim and vendor invoice to prevent discrepancies that could adversely affect employee. Ensure that the financial integrity of employee benefit programs. Establishment of Employee trust and satisfaction in order to ensure the financial integrity and budgeting is accurate for appropriate financial planning .
  • Compliance with all state, local and federal law. Ensure employee satisfaction when leave and accommodation needs are understood . Ensure that workplace productivity is not interrupted by ensuring the adequate staffing during the absence of employee.

Education

  • BA/BS Degree
  • Degree in Human Resources and or Business Administration's
  • Job-related vocational coursework
  • Human Resources and HR Law Course.

Licenses and Certifications

  • HRIS or benefits administration.

Other Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Familiarity with benefit administration software of benefit administration via HRIS system.
  • Customer Service Orientation, provision of excellent customer service to employee, managers and business partners.
  • Attention to Detail and ability to provide accurate benefit administration related to recordkeeping, benefits reconciliation and compliance management.
  • Analyze data related to benefits such as cost and projection.
  • Knowledge in excel to include pivot tables and v-lookups.
  • Understanding of employee needs in order to enhance an employee work experience.
  • Promote a empathetic culture and foster a positive and supportive work culture that reinforce the organization
