Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Pool Technician to join our team. As a Pool Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing swimming pools and related equipment. This is a hands-on role that requires mechanical knowledge, proficiency with power and hand tools, and a strong attention to detail. This is an ideal position for someone looking to make extra money and gain some additional skills during the summer season. Pay will be based upon experience.

*Must have reliable transportation and be willing to use your personal vehicle - as a company vehicle will NOT be provided. Preferably an SUV , Van, or Truck will work best. Mileage reimbursement offered. Tools will be provided.*

Duties

- Perform routine maintenance tasks on swimming pools, including cleaning, chemical balancing, and water testing

- Install liners for both in-ground and above-ground

- Build above-ground and in-ground pools

- Repair and replace pool equipment such as pumps, filters, heaters, and valves

- Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with pool systems and equipment

- Perform repairs on pool surfaces, tiles, and grout as needed

- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain a clean work area

- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client inquiries and concerns

Experience

- Proven experience as a Pool Technician or similar role (willing to train the right candidate)

- Strong knowledge of pool maintenance techniques and best practices

- Familiarity with pool equipment repair and troubleshooting

- Proficiency in using power tools and hand tools for repairs

- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail

- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively
