Position Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated Dishwasher and Kitchen Support Staff member to manage the cleanliness and organization of our kitchen facilities. This role is vital in ensuring that all equipment used in the preparation and serving of meals is cleaned and sanitized according to health standards. Beyond maintaining a pristine working environment, this position calls for a compassionate individual who can provide spiritual leadership and mentorship to students within our program, helping them grow both professionally and spiritually.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate dishwashing equipment to clean and sanitize kitchen tools and equipment.
• Ensure all kitchenware is stored correctly and workspaces are kept immaculate.
• Mentor work therapy clients, teaching them basic job skills and kitchen safety.
• Communicate effectively with the management team regarding supply needs.
• Uphold and represent the organization's Mission, Vision, and Values in daily activities.
• Engage in spiritual practices and disciplines to enhance personal and professional growth.
• Address and resolve conflicts within the team and with community partners proactively.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• A minimum of 2 years' experience in a high-volume restaurant or healthcare facility kitchen.
• Experience working with the homeless or in mental health facilities is highly desirable.
• Strong commitment to the organization's spiritual ethos and values.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively in a team.
