Enjoy fun in the sun with children, teens, and adults as a J Camp counselor! Contribute to a welcoming environment, set a positive example for children, grow your skills and your resume, and earn money all summer long! Dance is an integral part of the ruach (spirit) of camp. The Dance Specialist plans and executes dance activities in 45-minute chunks for campers of varying ages, combining exciting Israeli dancing, American line dancing, and dance games. The Dance Specialist helps lead camp-wide dancing at boker tov (morning circle) and at shabbat. This job requires some prep time leading up to camp and works closely with the Assistant Camp Director. 

Schedule: 7-10 weeks during summer ( 1 week of training); Monday-Friday, 40 hours per week.

Pay: Starting at $19.00, and up to $22.00 per hour ( a free gym membership to the J during employment!)

Requirements

 -16 years of age
- Experience in dance of any kind
- Experience working with children preferred
- Satisfactorily pass criminal background check
