Come build with us! Role and Responsibilities Specific Job Duties: Lead a team of engineers who apply formal verification tools to blocks of the GPU design. Responsible for adding relevant assertions and coverage points to new and existing blocks, verifying various sequential equivalence scenarios such as clock gating, and verifying datapath equivalence of C and RTL models. Diagnose formal failures and work closely with RTL designers to update formal constraints or RTL code in order to fix the failures. Verify the sequential equivalence of a new revision of an RTL block, and work with the RTL team to resolve any issues. Skills and Qualifications Minimum Requirements: Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Computer Engineering or a related field and 48 months of experience in the Job offered or in a related occupation. Requires 48 months of experience involving the following: 1. ASIC/SoC design/development at sub-system or chip level; 2. Verilog/SystemVerilog/VHDL; 3. Writing assertions/checkers in Verilog/System Verilog/VHDL ; 4. UVM/OVM/VMM; 5. Test bench development; 6. Test/verification plan creation; 7. Synopsis VCS or equivalent verification tool; 8. Verification of unit-level blocks or full chip; 9. Code coverage analysis/closure; 10. Writing Perl scripts to automate feature testing and debugging; 11. Monitoring and debugging test failures; and 12. Defect monitoring, characterization, and root cause analysis. Total Rewards At Samsung - SARC/ACL, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $260,450 and $280,450. Your actual base pay will depend on variables that may include your education skills, qualifications, experience, and work location. In addition, regular full-time employees (salaried or hourly) are eligible for MBO bonus compensation, based on company, division, and individual performance.
