Our expertise and capabilities have found a niche with corporations, educational institutions, family offices, and professional sports franchises.Job DescriptionWe are looking for a skilled and dedicated Human Resources and Payroll Administrator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing both payroll and human resources functions, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficiency.ResponsibilitiesPayroll Administration- Process payroll for all employees accurately and on time.- Verify hours worked, deductions, and withholdings.- Maintain accurate payroll records and employee information in the payroll system.- Respond to employee inquiries regarding payroll-related matters.- Prepare and distribute payroll reports as needed.- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll laws and regulations.- Assist with payroll audits and reconciliations.Human Resources Administration- Assist with recruitment and onboarding processes, including posting job openings, screening resumes, scheduling interviews, and conducting new hire orientations.- Maintain employee records, including personnel files, benefits information, and performance evaluations.- Coordinate employee benefits enrollment and changes.- Assist with employee relations issues and disciplinary actions.- Support HR initiatives and programs, such as employee engagement surveys, training, and development activities.- Stay up-to-date on changes in employment laws and regulations.Requirements- Bachelor's degree in human resources, business administration, or related field (preferred).- Proven experience in payroll and human resources administration roles.- Strong understanding of payroll processes and HR best practices.- Proficiency in payroll software, HRIS systems, and MS Office, especially Excel.- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.- Strong organizational and time management skills.- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team, both in-person and remotely.- Certification in payroll (CPP, FPC) and/or HR (PHR, SHRM-CP) is a plus.Benefits- Competitive salary- Health, dental, and vision insurance- Retirement savings plan- Professional development and growth opportunitiesSalient Operations Group is committed to providing equal employment opportunities to all individuals without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, age, disability, genetic information, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, marital status, or any other legally protected status.As part of our commitment to ensuring a safe and secure workplace for our employees and clients, we may require applicants to comply with state and local background check requirements.
