Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Service Manager to join our team. As Service Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our service department, assisting clients in the agricultural, commercial, and homeowner sectors. This is a leadership role that requires strong technical knowledge, exceptional customer service skills, and the ability to manage a team effectively.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and supervise a team of service technicians (including mobile technicians) and service advisor
- Ensure efficient and timely completion of repairs
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing customer inquiries and concerns
- Develop and implement strategies to increase service department profitability
- Monitor and maintain fleet of trucks and equipment
- Coach service technicians and provide guidance for technician growth
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth workflow and customer satisfaction
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in technology
Experience:
To be successful in this role, you should have the following qualifications:
- Strong knowledge of diesel equipment and experience operating machinery
- Proven experience in service writing and sales
- Excellent leadership and team management skills
- Ability to handle cash transactions accurately
- Proficient in computer systems
