Position Overview:

As an Accounts Payable Specialist, you’ll play a crucial role in maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring timely payments. Your expertise will directly impact our commitment to excellence.

Responsibilities:

• Process Invoices: Compile and maintain accounts payable records, ensuring input accuracy and timely payment of vendor invoices.
• Vendor Relations: Respond to vendor and internal inquiries, resolving any issues promptly.
• Database Management: Set up and maintain vendor files and the vendor database in accounting software.
• Invoice Review: Coordinate the approval process for all accounts payable invoices, reviewing them for accuracy and proper account coding.
• Payment Processing: Prepare batches for payment processing.
• Tax Compliance: Review and audit invoices to ensure tax compliance.

Required Skills/Qualifications:

• High School diploma or GED; Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
• 1-2 years of experience in a hotel environment.
• Strong organizational skills to handle high workload volumes.
• Problem-solving abilities and rational decision-making.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
