We have expanded multiple times over the past decade to accommodate our continued growth and we are looking for an HR Manager - Systems to join our team.

POSITION SUMMARY

The HR Systems Manager is responsible for maximizing the efficiency, effectiveness, and business impact of the HR systems for SixAxis. They will review system capabilities and support the implementation of initiatives to enhance the solution in a way that is accurate, secure, and compliant with the organization's standards. The HR Systems Manager will troubleshoot issues, implement improvements/upgrades, and integrate new systems. This role will be key in driving various HR functions within the organization including HRIS Database administration, reporting, data analysis, external payroll support, benefits administration, and the development and implementation of policies, procedures, and special projects. Hybrid design of 3-4 days in office may be effective.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Leads, manages, and make recommendations for best practices related to HR systems and HR operations across multiple locations.
  • Ensures all people information is up to date, consistent across all locations, and monitored regularly for accuracy.
  • Provides technical support and guidance to the HR Team and other users of HR systems, resolving issues and queries in a timely and professional manner.
  • Generates and analyzes reports and dashboards, providing insights and recommendations to the HR Team, Company leadership, and other stakeholders.
  • Collaborates with internal and external resources to troubleshoot issues, integrate new features and modules, and ensure alignment with the organization's objectives.
  • Contributes to a wide variety of HR Projects while keeping up to date on the latest developments in HR systems, process and practices, evaluating and recommending new solutions and best practices.
  • Leads efforts in HRIS configuration, security, data management, reporting, and auditing.
  • Develops and maintains documentation, policies, and procedures for core HR systems, ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
  • Leads benefits administration including annual renewal process, auditing invoices, and coordinating communications to employees.
  • Main contact to out-sourced payroll, tax, and HR software providers.
  • Manages leave of absence administration.
  • Builds strong, trusting relationships with all levels of the organization to achieve positive results.
  • Maintains compliance with federal, state, and local employment/labor laws and regulations.
  • Other duties as business needs dictate.

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • 8 years developing, supporting, and operating HR systems, preferably in a manufacturing environment with multiple locations.
  • Wide variety of experience in all areas of HR preferred including benefits, policies, compliance, employee relations, and managing external vendors.
  • Aptitude for problem-solving, demonstrated ability to develop reporting systems, analyze data, and recommend effective solutions.
  • Solid business acumen and able to manage multiple projects in parallel.
  • Must be detail oriented, organized, with effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Demonstrated experience safeguarding confidentiality of all personal and company information and meeting compliance requirements.
  • Excellent people skills and an ability to build relationships with people at all organizational levels, both internal and external to the organization.
  • Ability to travel overnight on an infrequent basis (5%)
  • Proficiency in using Microsoft Office Suite applications, especially Excel.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business/HR/Mgt. preferred but not required.
