Job Description :
In this Recruiter role, you will be responsible for the hiring of highly qualified individuals across the U.S. within the defense and security technical industry.

As a Recruiter, you will manage the full cycle recruiting and onboarding process for assigned client groups, including :
Partnering with managers to understand their staffing requirements, and the specific skills, competencies, and experience desired for the role.
Consulting with managers on the strategy to fill the position by establishing external recruiting sources, to fill the relevant pipeline.
Partnering with hiring managers on an on-going basis to ensure that the resume flow is sufficient.
Monitoring and tracking candidate pipeline.
Partnering with managers to discuss potential candidates and qualifications.
Reviewing recommended candidates for offer and ensuring qualifications align.
Discussing salary requirements with candidates and developing salary recommendations using internal and external data analysis.
Proposing salary recommendations using internal and external data analysis.
Training hiring managers on self-service recruitment and applicant tracking tool (Workday) and ensuring compliance with legal and data-integrity requirements.
Facilitating management-level panel interviews, as appropriate.
Acting as primary HR contact for new hire through the offer process, including conducting orientation, and managing the relocation process (as appropriate).
Coordinating and taking part in external recruiting events and job fairs.
Participating and / or leading projects and special initiatives as assigned.
Compensation Range : $58,480-$67,300
The compensation range provided is a general guideline. When extending an offer, Saab, Inc. considers factors including (but not limited to) the role and associated responsibilities, location, and market and business considerations, as well as the candidate's work experience, key skills, and education / training.
Skills and Experience :
A Bachelor’s degree and 1 year experience in Human Resources or a related field.
Fundamental knowledge of the tools of the trade : resume databases, social networking, sourcing tools.
Fundamental knowledge of employment law and best practices.
Strong PC skills and ability to learn applicant tracking / HRIS systems Workday.
Ability to represent Saab, Inc. in the community at recruiting events.
Demonstrated problem solving and critical thinking skills.
Demonstrated experience developing collaborative working relationships across organizations and functions.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Excellent organization skills and ability to manage multiple priorities.
Citizenship Requirements :
Must be a U.S. citizen, Permanent Resident (green card holder), or protected individual as defined by 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3).
