Job Description:
We are looking for an experienced Property Manager with a strong background in residential property management for a 150 unit apartment complex . The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, highly organized, and an independent thinker and worker.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee all aspects of property operations, including leasing, maintenance, budgeting, and tenant relations.
- Implement leasing strategies to maximize occupancy and rental income.
- Conduct property inspections and ensure compliance with safety and maintenance standards.
- Respond promptly to tenant inquiries, concerns, and maintenance requests.
- Develop and maintain positive relationships with residents, vendors, and stakeholders.
- Prepare and manage budgets, financial reports, and forecasts.
- Negotiate contracts with service providers and suppliers.
- Stay updated on market trends and competitive properties.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in property management, with a minimum of 2 years experience of apartment property management.
- Strong knowledge of landlord-tenant laws, Fair Housing regulations, and property management best practices.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in property management software, preferably AppFolio, and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering exceptional customer service.
