We are seeking a Sous Chef to join our team at Rye Leawood!
You will thrive in a fast-paced environment and dedicate time to expanding our clientele base to establish the restaurant’s brand & reputation. Locally owned & chef-driven Rye Restaurant focuses on Midwestern cuisine & culture. Our chefs source seasonal and sustainable products from local farmers and purveyors to create menus for lunch, dinner, & weekend brunch.
Must have minimum of 2 years' experience working in a professional kitchen, knowledge of cost & labor systems, passion for food & cooking techniques, strong leadership qualities, the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, basic computer skills including, but not limited to; Microsoft Excel & Word, full-time availability, 10-12 hours per day, five days per week.
