Requirements
- Create the schedule for the team including Food Runners, Supervisors & Venetian set up, while maintaining accurate schedules for upcoming events
- Assist in supervising daily shift operations
- Lead team members in the execution of dinner service and expediting the food service for cocktail hour
- Assist in maintaining inventory for the bar stations and ensure availability of staff supplies and resources for events
- Oversee closing procedures with the Food Runners making certain that daily checklist responsibilities are assigned and completed; Includes overseeing the changing over and cleaning of buffet areas after cocktail hour
- Educate the staff to be able to describe all food and beverage products attractively
- Ensure specialty buffet and Venetian display items are stored properly, inventoried and maintained
- Ensure staff is following all food and alcohol beverage service in compliance with federal, state, and local laws at all times.
- Handle guest inquiries, concerns, and special requests during events, ensuring exceptional customer satisfaction
- Participate in departmental meetings, including contract meetings and assist with preparations for the week's events.
- Able to effectively communicate in English
- Additional duties assigned as needed
