Location: Bella Vista Hotel, Lynchburg, VA

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute innovative and seasonally inspired menus that meet the highest culinary standards.
• Lead and mentor a skilled kitchen team, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment.
• Ensure the efficient and smooth operation of the kitchen, from food preparation to presentation.
• Implement and maintain strict adherence to food safety and hygiene standards.
• Collaborate with management to manage inventory, control costs, and achieve financial targets.
• Stay updated on industry trends and incorporate fresh ideas into menu development.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Head Chef or Sous Chef in a reputable restaurant.
• Culinary degree or equivalent certification.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Creative flair and a passion for delivering exceptional culinary experiences.
• Thorough knowledge of current food trends and a commitment to quality.
