We uphold the integrity and quality of our work so you can expect only the best from us.We are looking for a Program Specialist to join our growing team! Day-to-day responsibilities include: Analyzes project milestones and budgets. Reviews individual project progress, measuring performance and recommends corrective actions to maintain agreed upon schedule and cost as well as overall program accomplishments. Documents and provides results of specific business process re-engineering initiatives and alternative action proposals. Monitors individual project objectives, milestones, and budgets within the overall program objectives. Prepares correspondence relevant to projects/programs. Program specialists are responsible for a variety of administrative, business and operational functions necessary to run a government program(s) efficiently.Required Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:
  • Knowledge of Defense Acquisition policies and regulations including Major Systems Acquisition, Middle Tier Acquisition, and Urgent Capabilities Acquisition
  • Experience preparing, planning, and conducting Weapon System Reviews and Milestone Decisions to include associated documentation
  • Experience planning and orchestrating Integrated Product Teams
  • Knowledge of Acquisition Discipline, audits, and compliance monitoring
  • Knowledge of FAR, DFAR, AFARS, OTA, and contracting strategies
  • Experience with Army planning cycle including POM, APBB, SPAR, and FIRB
  • Experience with budget execution (OSD Goals), program reviews, QPR, EOM, fiscal law, appropriations
