Inside Sales Representative - Next Generation Sequencing (NGS) Remote

An Inside Sales Representative is a professional who converts pre-qualified leads and produces new business from current clients by employing upselling techniques that provide a positive customer experience.

Responsibilities:

  • To provide solutions, develop and manage allocated accounts strategically.
  • Prospect for new leads and gather information for incoming sales.
  • Practical selling abilities and product knowledge are required to find client demands and present an acceptable solution.
  • Maintains and develops strategic alliances with essential customers while using internal resources.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in a Life Science subject is necessary, as is a comparable experience in Biology, Genetics, Biochemistry, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 1-2 years of sales experience is required, ideally in life science reagents/consumables.
  • Microsoft Office proficiency is required.
  • Experience and knowledge of popular CRM systems (such as Salesforce) are desirable.
