We are seeking a licensed insurance agent to join our team and provide exceptional service to our clients. As an insurance agent, you will be responsible for selling various Shelter insurance policies, advising clients on their insurance needs, and ensuring they have adequate coverage to protect their assets and loved ones.
Key Responsibilities:
- Sell insurance policies to individuals and businesses, including life, health, property, and casualty insurance.
- Develop and maintain client relationships through effective communication and personalized service.
- Assess clients' insurance needs and recommend appropriate policies and coverage options.
- Explain insurance policies, terms, coverage limits, and exclusions to clients in a clear and understandable manner.
- Generate leads through networking, referrals, cold calling, and other sales techniques.
- Conduct policy reviews and provide clients with updates or recommendations as their insurance needs change.
- Process insurance applications, handle policy renewals, and assist clients with claims filing and resolution.
- Stay informed about changes and updates in the insurance industry, including new products, regulations, and trends.
- Meet sales targets and performance goals set by the company.
- Willing to obtain a valid insurance license issued by the state regulatory authority.
- Proven experience in insurance sales or a related field is preferred.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build rapport with clients.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management abilities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency in basic computer skills and familiarity with insurance industry software.
