Job Summary: The Vice President of Finance will work to maximize Rothman's financial performance and contribution to the overall strategic and operational goals through innovative leadership and accountability Essential Duties:
Supports development of long-term financial strategy. Implementing the financial strategy to drive growth and profitability. Advise company executives and shareholders on financial goals.
Monitor and analyze financial performance, providing strategic recommendations and insights to the executive team.
Oversee financial planning, financial reporting, shareholder reporting, budgeting cash flow management and forecasting processes to ensure accurate and effective resource allocation.
Oversee implementation of new systems to create automations in accounting processes. Identify inefficiencies in systems and eliminating them to use resources more effectively.
Manage financial risk by implementing comprehensive control systems and conducting regular risk assessments
Ensure compliance with relevantfinancial regulations and reporting standards.
Provide leadership and guidance to the finance and accounting team, fostering a culture of collaboration and excellence
Oversee Accounting, Accounts payable, Purchasing, Payroll and FPA. Repsonsible for the day-to-day financial management of the company. Coordinate with team members regarding ongoing projects, payroll and issues that arise.
Oversight over the annual financial audit.
Auditing and analyzing company expenses. Devise strategies to save company resources.
Support the fulfillment of goals to build revenue and obtain funding for major company projects.
Manage the finances of the company, including accounting data and operational information.
Maintain reporting systems ensuring compliance with GAAP standards, regulatory requirements and reporting needs.
Ensure bank compliance activities are performed in a timely and accurate manner
Manage insurance and compliance coverage.
Collaborate with Revenue Cycle to achieve and maintain a high level of performance with maximum return on services provided.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance required; Masters degree preferred
CPA required
10 years of progressive finance and accounting experience, including at least 5 years in healthcare leadership roles required.
Corporate accounting experience at a multi-site physicians practice preferred
Healthcare finance and accounting knowledge required
Prior healthcare services revenue accrual and physician compensation experience preferred
Strong proficiency and understanding of Microsoft, especially Excel. Self-starter with the ability to identify issues, problem solve and think critically; Proactive leadership to encourage and promote professional development within the team; Ability to work under time constraints and pressure.
Proficiency with Sage Intacct( accounting system) and Stampli (AP) preferred
