We're in search of a classically-trained Chef to grace our team with their expertise and creativity.
Position: Head Chef
Location: Sorority on campus at Indiana University
Hours: 40-45 hours per week (with some limitations, you may determine your schedule)
Compensation: Competitive, with up to 6 weeks of paid time off with commitment to complete the academic year.

Responsibilities:
- Craft exquisite menus inspired by classical culinary traditions
- Maintain the highest standards of food quality, presentation, and consistency
- Collaborate with our culinary team to innovate and elevate our offerings
- Ensure strict adherence to health and safety regulations
- Skillfully manage inventory and optimize food costs
- Manage a small team of supporting culinary staff
Requirements:
- Extensive experience as a chef, with a strong foundation in classical cooking techniques.
- Possession of ServSafe manager's certification or state equivalent
- Culinary degree is optional, though evidence of formal training or apprenticeships is valued
- Deep knowledge of classical cuisine, ingredients, and flavor profiles
- Ability to thrive without having a boss looking over your shoulder
- Exceptional organizational and time management skills
