Job Description:

We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Outside Sales Representative to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for calling on contractors in both the commercial and residential markets to promote and sell our range of building materials. This position offers an exciting opportunity to drive sales growth while building strong relationships with customers.

Responsibilities:

  • Prospect and develop new business opportunities by identifying and contacting potential customers in the commercial and residential construction sectors.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with contractors, architects, builders, and other key decision-makers in the industry.
  • Understand customer needs and recommend appropriate products and solutions to meet their requirements.
  • Prepare and deliver sales proposals, negotiate pricing, and close deals to achieve sales targets.
  • Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring customer satisfaction.

Qualifications:

  • Proven track record of success in outside sales, preferably in the building materials industry.
  • Strong understanding of commercial and residential construction processes and terminology.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage and influence customers.
  • Self-motivated and results-oriented, with a drive to achieve and exceed sales targets.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software.
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record

This is a wide open sales territory..you will not be stepping on the toes of other outside sales representatives.

Company offers an above market base salary, commissions, and excellent benefits package.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $65,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
