Description:
Our tire and wheel shop is seeking a skilled Sales Associate to join our team. As a Sales Associate, you will be responsible for managing the customer experience in-store and on the phone. Your primary responsibilities will include identifying customer needs, providing recommendations, processing transactions, and answering customer inquiries.
Responsibilities:
- Greet and assist customers with their inquiries and provide recommendations for products and services.
- Manage incoming phone calls and provide excellent customer service by answering customer questions and directing calls to the appropriate staff members.
- Maintain a clean and organized store appearance, including maintaining inventory levels, restocking shelves, and creating displays.
- Build and maintain positive relationships with customers by providing excellent service, following up with customers after purchases, and addressing any concerns or complaints.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest products, services, and industry trends to provide informed recommendations to customers.
- Assist with inventory management, including receiving and processing shipments, conducting regular inventory counts, and ensuring stock levels are maintained.
Requirements:
- High School diploma or equivalent
- 1-2 years of automotive sales or tire technician experience.
- Strong customer service and communication skills, with the ability to interact positively with a diverse range of customers.
- Proficient in using Point of Sale (POS) software and other retail technology.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
Physical Requirements:
- The ability to stand for extended periods of time.
- The ability to lift and move heavy objects, including tires and wheels.
