Job Description

Job Title: Sales Associate

Department: Submersible Dredging Solutions - Sales

Supervisor: Sales Manager

Summary

We aren’t just building a business – we’re disrupting an outdated industry. We’re pushing the boundaries of robotic technology to help our customers maintain productivity, minimize waste, increase safety, and reduce liability.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following, but are not limited to:

  • Input all jobs, contracts, companies, leads, notes, details and logged calls into the CRM database.
  • Process and move forward all assigned leads.
  • Analyze prospect/customer needs and develop innovative solutions.
  • Cold/Warm call prospects to explain features of services, cost, and advantages.
  • Educate prospects/customers about our business solutions through trade show attendance and lunch & learn hosting.
  • Ensure customer compliance and requirements for their specific site locations regarding background checks, drug screening, training certificates, etc.
  • Understand and coordinate subcontracting services when needed:
  • Dewatering Equipment (Dewatering Boxes, Dewatering Bags, Weir Tanks, etc.).
  • Material Disposal Services
  • Chemical/ Polymer Needs
  • Creates quotes and works internally with our Engineers to ensure accuracy and needs are properly met.
  • Confers with customers and company officials to resolve complaints.
  • Build relationships across industries to leverage our services and solutions.
  • Learn and Maintain complete knowledge of our protocols, pricing, procedures, and policies.
  • Close business and Create revenue!

Supervisory Responsibilities

  • This job has no supervisory responsibilities.

Qualifications Experience selling into multiple market segments/verticals, Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn, Self-motivated with the ability to work independently, Excellent organizational and time management skills.

Education and/or Experience High school diploma or GED, College preferred; with at least 3 years of business to business sales.

Reasoning Ability - Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations. Ability to read & understand blueprints, diagrams, and structural plans.

Mathematical Skills - Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.

Language Skills - Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.

Computer Skills - Proficiency in programs including PowerPoint, MS Office and Excel, Zendesk Sell/CRM experience preferred.

Travel This position would travel approximately 25% of the time. You may be required to travel out of town to meet potential clients for job walks, lunch-n-learns, and sales meetings.

Pay Range: $50,000-$70,000

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $50,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
