Rogers & Company, CPAs is Hiring an Administrative Assistant Near Morehead, NC

We are looking for an administrative assistant to join our firm in our Morehead City office. Exceptional work environment with opportunities for career advancement. In this position, you will assist our growing firm with client support, filing of federal and state documents, and administrative duties. A great attitude and willingness to learn is a must. Critical thinking and problem-solving skills is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Answering, screening, and forwarding incoming phone calls
  • Maintaining calendars, including scheduling in-person meetings and conference calls
  • Processing incoming and outgoing documents with confidentiality
  • Electronic document scanning and archiving
  • Completing and filing federal and state tax forms electronically or by mail
  • Adding and tracking projects and coordinating with team members to confirm project resolution.
  • Assisting clients with tax payment remittance
  • Administering mass mailings and letters
  • Receiving client payments and assisting office administrator with processing invoices
  • Basic office errands

Requirements

  • 3 years of administrative / clerical experience preferred
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and Adobe products
  • Extremely organized with strong time-management skills
  • High degree of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality when dealing with sensitive information
  • Hands-on experience with spreadsheets and proprietary software
  • Customer service orientation and negotiation skills
  • Experience with UltraTaxCS and/or Firm360 is a plus.
