Job Description & Qualifications
As a Special Education Specialist, you will play a crucial role in supporting students with diverse needs,
including those with autism, language deprivation, and executive functioning challenges. Your primary
responsibilities will involve collaborating with teachers and supporting staff to implement strategies that
promote academic, social, behavioral, and emotional growth for all students. From participating with the
education team to develop individualized education plans (IEPs) to creating a positive behavior support
system, you will be instrumental in fostering an inclusive learning environment where every student can

Salary Range: $56,638.00 to $76,935.00 (Salary is commensurate with educational degree and experience)
Bonus: 2nd year contract signing bonus available
Benefits: Full Medical benefits for employee (additional benefits available based on employee selection)
FLSA Status: Exempt
Work Year: 198 days (includes 180 student contact days)
