Scale Operator Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Scale Operator to join our team at our Salvage Yard. The ideal candidate will have experience in Excel, Customer Service, Salvage Yard, and Multi Tasking.
Responsibilities:
- Weighing incoming and outgoing vehicles and materials using the scale system
- Recording and maintaining accurate weight and inventory data in Excel spreadsheets
- Providing excellent customer service to clients and vendors
- Assisting with the organization and management of the Auto Yard
- Performing multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience as a Scale Operator in a Salvage Yard or similar environment
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Excellent customer service skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, multi-tasking environment
