General Laborer
Rochester Auto LLC DBA Paul's Auto Yard We are seeking a hardworking and reliable General Laborer to join our team at our salvage yard in Demotte, IN. The ideal candidate will have experience working in a salvage yard or similar environment and be comfortable working in all weather conditions.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with general labor duties such as cleaning up debris and maintaining a clean work environment
- Process vehicles for salvage by removing parts and preparing them for recycling
- Work as part of the auto crush crew to dismantle and crush vehicles
- Sort and separate non ferrous metals for recycling
- Operate equipment such as forklifts and skid steers
- Follow all safety procedures and guidelines
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a salvage yard laborer or general laborer
- Ability to work in all weather conditions
- Experience operating equipment such as forklifts and skid steers
- Strong work ethic and ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Ability to lift heavy objects and work in a physically demanding environment
