Rochester Academy Charter School is Hiring an Elementary Music Teacher Near Rochester, NY
Rochester Academy Elementary School is currently seeking a Music Teacher for the 2023-2024 school year and beyond. We aim to find a creative and dynamic educator who has a passion for K-5 students.
This position can either be half time or combined with another student support position to provide a full time option.
Responsibilities and Opportunities
- Freedom to create a wide variety of units in music
- Plan lessons that include culturally responsive practice and incorporate student interest
- Ability to order materials and supplies to suit your lessons
- Creative opportunities to conduct concerts, parent events and activities
Rochester Academy Charter School (RACS) is a public charter school, primarily serving students from the city of Rochester. Over 90% of our students identify as an individual of color. We are a college preparatory school and use data to determine how best to foster student growth. RACS seeks to prepare all graduates for active citizenship.
