The Submarine School of Music is Hiring a Private Music Teacher Near Rochester, NY
Role Summary
This multi-instrumentalist will be teaching private lessons in piano, guitar, ukulele, beginner drums, and voice, as well as leading potential group classes (rock band/chorus).
Who we are looking for: Someone with a great attitude, lots of patience, a love for working with kids and people of all ages and abilities, good communication skills, creative thinking skills, and enthusiasm for playing and teaching music. The ideal candidate is a musician who is active in the music scene, performing and collaborating with other musicians. We seek out musicians who play in bands and can be positive role models to aspiring rockers.
Experience: Must have at least 2 years experience working with kids and at least 5 years of experience with playing piano, guitar, drums, and/or voice. Must love music and have an expansive knowledge of different genres and theory.
Availability: We're looking for someone to commit to Friday afternoons from 2pm-6pm, with option to teach more throughout the week.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
