Our Position

Under general supervision, responsible for planning, developing, organizing and maintaining activities within Program. Schedule may include long hours, and travel throughout the state of California sometimes requiring overnight stays

Your Responsibilities

  • Responsible for monitoring budgetary in compliance with quarterly reporting requirements and outcome tracking tied to ability to bill for specific services.
  • Ability to work independently from home or office setting.
  • Initiates purchase requests and monitors expenditures according to the approved budget.
  • Responsible for locating facilities where training can be held; planning curriculum; monitoring and adhering to the terms of the contract. Ability to engage locations for classes that are free or cost effective by developing collaborative relationships.
  • Identifies potential customers and referral sources; implement policies and procedures in place that reflect values, meet contract requirements, and produce adequate referrals which result in meeting outcomes required by contract.
  • Develops and manages methods to monitor and evaluate the program's effectiveness including outcome studies, customer satisfaction and contract reporting requirements on time and in accordance to contract needs.
  • Builds and maintains effective relationships with referral sources and individuals being served.
  • Provides job development and placement educational programming in both individual and group settings such as resume writing, practice interviewing to include ADA disclosure issues and criminal history disclosure, and identification of appropriate work/interview attire.
  • Oversees all aspects of the California Healthcare Access and Information (HCAI) contracts.
  • Provides on-going job coaching and support to assist transitioning into the workforce, provides appropriate follow-up to support and reinforce employment retention skills.
  • Ensures training locations have availability of equipment and supplies and compliance with life safety standards, building, fire and sanitation codes.
  • Coordinates the hiring process to include interviewing applicants and making hiring recommendations.
  • Provides orientation and ongoing training to staff and/or students.
  • Assists and monitors staff in maintaining employment related credentials and/or requirements.
  • Responsible for the oversight of activities of staff including of assignment of duties, ensure staff are well informed, work is evenly distributed and performance corrections are made effectively.
  • Provides continual support and coaching to employees.
  • Implements evaluation tools regularly and tracks progress towards goals. Continually adjust training content according to evaluation feedback.
  • Initiates disciplinary actions and recommends improvement plan or corrective action.
  • Implements agency training procedures and ensures compliance with training and supervision expectations.
  • Assures the quality of documentation in the record is in compliance with agency record policies.
  • Plays a lead role with implementing training modules, adjusting them according to demand and upgrading on a continuous basis. Assures quality delivery of all training modules.
  • Promotes the growth of services through education and advocacy in the community, developing positive mutual relationships with other agencies.
  • Maintains regular and consistent attendance and punctuality.
  • Additional duties as assigned.

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience; or
  • High school diploma, GED or Associates degree (with behavioral health emphasis) with certification as CPRP, or other relevant specialty certification.
  • Two years supervisory or management experience.
  • Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality (HIPAA guidelines and regulations) and professionalism.

Driving Requirements:
  • If driving is required for this position, must meet all requirements outlined in RI International driving policy.
  • If not qualified to drive per driving policy, a Non-Driver Attestation form must be signed.
A Direct Service Competency Checklist must be completed as part of the new hire onboarding process.
Physical Demands:
May include work close to the eyes and substantial motions of the wrist, hands, and/or fingers. Frequent sitting, standing, walking, handling, finger dexterity; eye-hand-foot coordination, use of corrected vision; color vision; use of auditory senses. May be required to lift up to twenty (20) pounds.
Work Environment
May work in an office environment or behavioral health facility. May have contact with individuals who are agitated and/or confused. Work may include travel throughout the geographic region.
