We are seeking a VP of Accounting to lead our Accounting team. The VP of Accounting will play a key role in the growth of our company by leading the accounting, tax, and treasury functions of the company. In this role, you will partner with all aspects of the business to build and improve business and accounting processes, systems and controls while ensuring that core accounting functions are operating at a level appropriate for the stage of the Company. Please reach out if interested!Responsibility: · Lead all aspects of our corporate accounting functions including Billing, AP/AR, revenue, tax, treasury, financial reporting, and payroll· Manage all monthly, quarterly, and year-end close activities; prepare financial statements in accordance with US GAAP · Identify opportunities to improve internal accounting processes; propose and implement solutions· Lead the team through financial statement audits; manage relationship with auditors· Build, lead, support and develop a high-performing accounting team· Manage external stakeholders to address audit, banking, compliance, reporting, insurance and tax requirements· Work cross functionally with other leaders at company to scale and operationalize processes supporting our business growth· Work cross functionally with other leaders to challenge and optimize our billing, accounting & finance systems as part of scaling initiatives· Partner with Finance to create financial projections and budgets; analysis of results against budget· Develop a comprehensive set of control processes to mitigate financial risk and ensure accuracy of company records
