Robert Half is Hiring a Technical product manager Near Seattle, WA

Robert Half is searching for a Technical Product Manager for a well-known Food and Beverage client based in Seattle, Washington . As a Product Manager, you'll play a pivotal role in driving innovation and delivering products that enhance our customer's journey. This role will also recognize and articulate business problems or opportunities, define target metrics, and create well-formed epics or user stories for engineering teams, who can then design, build, release, and monitor technical solutions efficiently. This is a long-term contract (12 months) that would be hybrid in Seattle, WA (3 days/week onsite, 2 days/week remote).

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the identification of business needs, market demands, and technical trends, providing innovative solutions.
  • Collaborate closely with business partners to align business and technical objectives, establishing clear priorities for the team.
  • Drive product planning through daily collaboration and decision-making with cross-functional teams, including engineers and business partners.
  • Define comprehensive non-functional requirements encompassing performance, scalability, resilience, usability, accessibility, security, and business continuity.
  • Establish key product health and performance metrics, creating dashboard/reporting requirements and KPIs for effective measurement.
  • Utilize data-driven insights to identify opportunities for enhancing feature performance and overall product health.
  • Measure feature success post-deployment, providing valuable insights to the team and business partners.
  • Engage directly with business stakeholders to understand and address their challenges effectively.
  • Work collaboratively with engineering teams to prioritize and document technical and non-functional features.
  • Practice iterative, agile development methodologies to drive product innovation and efficiency.
  • Identify and document technical tradeoffs, dependencies, and constraints to inform decision-making.
  • Validate features against stated goals and facilitate user review/acceptance testing.
  • Proactively manage execution and eliminate blocking issues during product development.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams on feature sizing and delivery planning.
  • Effectively communicate product delivery milestones and progress updates.

Requirements:

  • 4 years of experience as a Product Manager, or similar positions.
  • Must have experience with POS and Payment product experience.
  • Proven track record of using analytics and optimization tools to inform product planning and prioritization.
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate with design and engineering teams to deliver customer-facing features.
  • Hands-on experience in developing roadmaps, priorities, features, user stories, and refining product backlogs in a fast-paced, changing environment.
  • Extensive industry experience in a technology environment with a successful history of delivering complex products.

The salary range for this position is $60/hour to $75/hour. Benefits available to contract/temporary professionals, include medical, vision, dental, and life and disability insurance.
