Robert Half Legal is partnering with a large law firm that's seeking a Commercial Litigation Paralegal with at least 7-10 years of experience to join their team. This Commercial Litigation Paralegal will assist lawyers by managing all aspects of large scale, complex litigation. This position is paying between $90-100K plus bonus. In addition, this position offers a flexible hybrid WFH schedule - 2 days per week WFH. If you are looking to join a large law firm, then this is the opportunity for you!

Litigation Paralegal Responsibilities:

• Manage a caseload of complex litigation cases
• Prepare legal correspondence, pleadings, and discovery responses
• Summarize and analyze records
• Manage large document productions, exhibit and trial preparation
• Attend trial as needed
• Manage files and documents, coordinating with support services, opposing law firms, and courts

Non-Billable Functions:

• Research and stay current with reporting procedures and rules for the various courts as well as changes in regulations
• Attend CLE seminars to stay on top of new developments in the litigation and paralegal fields, including those pertaining to changes in the legal system and e-discovery advancements and best practices
• Record accurate and descriptive entries in the timekeeping application, demonstrating value for services rendered for both billable and non-billable tasks
• Keep track and prepare monthly client billing for Choice Point Asset Locator and PACER online court docket and filing system
• Collaborate with the practice group chairs to establish, implement, and enforce standard operating procedures, workflows, training resources, and best practices for the group

• Bachelor Degree needed; paralegal certificate preferred
• At least 7-10 years of commercial litigation paralegal experience
• Experience with eDiscovery required
• Experience working with an eDiscovery platform required (DISCO preferred)
• Trial experience highly preferred
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
