The Robert Half Healthcare Practice is working with a healthcare company in Indianapolis to fill multiple Medical Accounts Receivable Specialist openings. Previous experience working in CERNER is a must. This is a 3-4 month contract with the potential of being hired on at the end of the assignment.Duration: 3-4 MonthsResponsibilities for the position include the following:Processes incoming mail and EOBs within 5 business days.Tracks down and resolves insurance issues in a timely manner, including late charges, incorrect payments, denials, and appeals.Knowledge of insurance regulations and policies and completes all necessary tasks to follow up with insurance companies through their websites.Proactively identifies and resolves outstanding accounts to ensure timely payments.Provides clear and concise communication to patients and payors and follows up with other departments as needed to resolve issues in a timely manner.Maintains records of all communication with patients and payors.Ensures that all billing is accurate and timely, and that any issues with the Information System are quickly resolved.Stays up-to-date on changes to billing and reimbursement regulations and policies
