Frost Brown Todd LLC is Hiring a Remote E-Billing Specialist (Remote)

Frost Brown Todd LLP, a national law firm of 1000 legal and business professionals in sixteen markets, is currently seeking a full-time E-Billing Assistant to join our firm.

Job Responsibilities Include:

  • Working with attorneys, legal practice assistants, and clients for e-billing setup, rate management and accrual submissions.
  • Enforcing client billing guidelines by proactively setting up rules and constraints.
  • Working with FBT software solutions to correct time entry before prebill.
  • Working with FBT software solutions to create and submit Legal Electronic Data Exchange Standard (LEDES) documents to clients in the correct format. Editing bills and/or LEDES documents when necessary.
  • Collaborating with billing assistants to ensure resolution of all e-billing submissions result in successful acceptance by client.
  • Ensuring prompt follow-up regarding rejected or pending e-bills, monitoring daily.
  • Providing both clients and attorneys with information including reasons for delay in billing, status of setup and submission, and appeal requests.
  • Creating and revising basic spreadsheet reports.
  • Track all e-billing efforts in ARCS, exporting email communication and critical information on history of e-billing submissions through resolutions.
  • Working with rate management specialists to update rates for e-billed clients.
  • Assisting with other special billing requests.

Job Requirements:

  • College degree or commensurate experience with high school diploma.
  • Law firm or professional services background preferred.
  • Two or more years specializing in e-billing.
  • Interpersonal skills necessary to maintain effective relationships with attorneys and business professionals via telephone, email or in person to provide information with ordinary courtesy and tact.
  • Must have attention to detail with an eye for accuracy.
  • Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
  • Knowledge of Aderant Software a plus.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office products such as Word, Excel, Outlook.
