A national service provider located on the Northwest side of Indianapolis has an immediate opportunity for a Purchasing Specialist. The Purchasing Specialist will work alongside a team of 6 and play a key role in the day to day success of the operations. This role is full-time and will require the individual to train full-time on site, then allow a transition to work 2-3 days remote once trained. This role is estimated to last at least 3 months and could have th opportunity to lead to a permanent position.Key Job Duties Include:Submit and follow-up on RFPs to new and existing vendorsPrioritze purchase requests to ensure all deadlines are metCreate, edit and close out purchase orders in D365Manage vendor recordsWork with vendors to expedite orders as neededRespond to internal customer inquiriesAssist other team members as needed
