Robert Half is Hiring a Product Manager Near West Chester, OH

Primary Job Duties:
• Serve as the Engineered Components product expert with in-depth knowledge of the broader market, competitive set, industry compliance standards, product lines, sales trends, and pricing.
• Manage the Engineered Components product line to fill gaps including product line extensions and new product development.
• Develop and execute product category plans, roadmaps, and pricing actions to meet growth goals.
• Determine product specifications and collaborate with Marketing to create collateral and selling tools to drive conversion with customers.
• Collaborate with Sales and Pricing to establish effective price points, set goals, and assess performance.
• Collaborate with Supply Chain, Engineering, and vendors to develop new products, rationalize product lines, and improve profitability of existing products.
• Collaborate with Marketing to develop initiatives and tools that translate the company's value proposition for the Engineered Components product portfolio.
• Provide product specification details and, training to Sales and Marketing.
• Analyze data and insights to determine industry and customer trends.
• Continually obtain "voice-of-customer" to identify ways of improving performance and better satisfying customer needs.
• Monitor competition, gather market information, recommend product enhancements accordingly.
• Maintain thorough understanding of industry standards, trends, and best practices.
• Maintain detail oriented and technical knowledge, for example by attending educational workshops, reviewing detail oriented publications, establishing contact networks and participating in detail oriented societies.
• Other duties as assigned.

• Knowledge of product management, product category go-to-market practices, and pricing structure by product line.
• Ability to analyze large amounts of data and synthesize into meaningful and actionable insights and reports.
• Project management to ensure initiatives are delivered on schedule, on budget, and on quality.
• Commercial awareness to understand what's happening with customers and the broader market.
• Ability to collaborate and work cross-functionally to achieve business goals.
• Drive, passion, and persuasiveness to sell ideas internally and externally.
