We are currently seeking a talented and experienced Mechanical Engineer to join their dynamic team and play a key role in driving innovation and ensuring the continued success of our products. Position Overview: As a Mechanical Engineer specializing in rotating machinery design, you will be responsible for leading the design and development of next-generation products. Leveraging your expertise in structural analysis, heavy machinery, CAD, and GPDM, you will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to deliver robust, high-performance solutions that exceed customer expectations. Your ability to write detailed use-case scenarios and your in-depth understanding of rotating machinery dynamics will be critical in shaping the design process and ensuring the reliability and efficiency of our products. Key Responsibilities: Rotating Machinery Design: Lead the design and development of rotating machinery products, including pumps, turbines, compressors, and motors, from concept to production. Structural Analysis: Conduct comprehensive structural analyses using advanced computational tools to evaluate the performance and integrity of mechanical components under various operating conditions. Use-Case Scenario Development: Write detailed use-case scenarios to define the functional requirements and performance criteria for rotating machinery products, ensuring alignment with customer needs and industry standards. Heavy Machinery Expertise: Apply your expertise in heavy machinery design and operation to optimize the performance, reliability, and safety of our products in demanding industrial environments. CAD and GPDM: Utilize Computer-Aided Design (CAD) software and Product Data Management (GPDM) systems to create detailed engineering drawings, models, and documentation, facilitating seamless collaboration and version control across teams. Prototype Development: Work closely with manufacturing and R& D teams to build and test prototypes, iterate designs based on performance feedback, and drive continuous improvement throughout the product development lifecycle. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including electrical engineers, software developers, and project managers, to integrate mechanical systems with other subsystems and ensure holistic product performance. Technical Leadership: Provide technical leadership and mentorship to entry level engineers, sharing best practices, fostering a culture of innovation, and promoting continuous learning and development within the engineering team.
