The company is well-respected for it's positive work environment and is looking for highly-skilled and motivated candidate who will handle a variety of personnel related administrative tasks and clerical support to the HR department and employees regarding human resources related activities, policies, processes, and procedures. If you're based in the Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania area, you may want to check out this HR Assistant opportunity offered on a long-term contract / temporary basis.Our client in Oakland who is looking for an HR Assistant to support human resources by assisting in the hiring and leaves process; processes payroll and payroll related transactions; updates and maintains files, records, and databases; and assists in various administrative functions. Coordinate, track and maintain Child Protection Clearance Recertification’s for Facilities Management employees. Send correspondence, create tracking spread sheets, follow-up that all steps are being completed and assist employees when needed. Contract Only and pay rate is $19-$23. Attention to detail and strong organization skills are key for this role, additional skills include proficiency in Microsoft Suite and knowledgeable in Human Resources.Position will work In-OfficeHours: Monday – Friday 7:30 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.Hours per week: 37.5 Position expected to last: Longer than 6 months, possibly one yearMinimum Education: HS Diploma/GED – Bachelor preferredMinimum Years’ Experience: 2 yearsMircrosoft Office, Experience in Excel is preferred. If you have the appropriate background for this role are interested in being considered, please apply using the Robert Half website.
