This role involves various HR duties, including recruiting, owning new hire orientation, managing the employee handbook, and handling employee relations.Responsibilities- Collaborate with upper management, employees, and third-party vendors- Evaluate employee performance, including assisting with annual reviews, appraising pay scales, and coordinating disciplinary action (including terminations if necessary)- Compare federal, state, and local laws to current internal policies and procedures- Develop templates for HR documents, including the Employee Handbook- Create onboarding plans and educate newly hired employees on HR policies, internal procedures, and regulations- Create & /or support a recruitment plan according to business and operational projections- Collaborate with other members of the HR department to oversee the hiring and onboarding process for new company employees- Create employee engagement plans, including budget approvals and management oversite- Responsible for completing various tasks to support the daily operations of the HR department- Develop official internal documents such as offer letters, appointment letters, salary adjustments, updates to the employee handbook, leave of absences, and warning/termination letters- Maintain physical and digital files for employees and their documents, including benefits, attendance records, and annual reviews- Manage employee relations, including coordinating sensitive conversations and engaging employee
