Our client is a dynamic, innovative organization seeking a versatile and efficient interim HR Generalist to join their team. They operate in an "always evolving" and fast-paced start-up environment where there are plenty of opportunities for learning and growth. They prioritize a harmonious, fun, and "get it done" culture and are looking for someone who can contribute to maintaining this atmosphere. This position is crucial to fostering our company's growth and innovation by fulfilling core HR responsibilities.
Responsibilities:
1. Actively participate in the recruitment, selection and hiring processes. 2. Facilitate the onboarding process for new employees; Ensuring that it's seamless and fast-tracked from 3-4 weeks to a shorter time frame. 3. Manage and process company payroll using Paycor system. 4. Take responsibility for benefits administration including providing benefits enrollment paperwork promptly to new hires and managing the open enrollment period in April. 5. Conduct in-depth analysis of organizational HR needs based on current statuses and make necessary recommendations. 6. Collaborate with various stakeholders including 8 directors, managers, and hourly staff. 7. Navigate a simple union contract; union experience is not required but can be an added advantage. 8. Establish strong working relationships with leaders and staff, fostering trust and communication.
