Robert Half is searching for an Entry-Level Help Desk Specialist for a banking client located in Renton, Washington. The primary responsibility of this Help Desk Specialist is to assist internal end-users with any tier I technical issue they may have by working through a ticketing queue, answering the phone, and responding to users via email. This is a long-term contract (7 months) that has the potential to extend longer based on performance and client need. Additionally, this role would be 100% onsite in Renton, WA.

Responsibilities:

• Provide excellent customer service.
• Complete user requests and routine troubleshooting scenarios, such as password resets, answering "how to" questions, and providing general information on supported systems. 
• Provide 1st tier support for internal staff, responding to tickets and calls.
• Troubleshoot and provide instructions over the phone or deskside.
• Maintain hardware including workstations and phones.
• Prioritize work based on the severity level of the situation and related time sensitivity.
• Accurately identify and document issues in ticket management system.
• Liaise with vendors and other IT personnel for problem resolution.
• Communicate well and fluidly using text-based forms of communication (Email, SMS, IM).
• Successful completion of required compliance related training within prescribed timelines. 
• Must be highly organized and presentable for business class clients.
• Other duties as assigned.
