Contract to hire
We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for a Help Desk Analyst I based in Marlton, New Jersey. This role is in the Information & Technology department of a leading telecom provider. You will be providing analytical, technical, and administrative support to local and remote end-users, as well as production lines, with the goal of achieving total end-user satisfaction.
Responsibilities
Manage all aspects of a Microsoft environment, working with Microsoft Active Directory and Exchange
Support a virtual desktop environment on VMWare along with various other end user hardware
Build and/or Support Desktops, Laptops, Virtual Desktops, and other mobile devices
Work with AV equipment, Video Conferencing Technologies and conference rooms
Demonstrate strong analytical ability to troubleshoot application, hardware, software, and peripheral problems
Assist with IT projects as needed
Participate in an after hour support rotation with the team, fielding emergency end user calls
Be available to work alternate shifts or occasionally on weekends as needed
Travel within the New Jersey, New York, Delaware and Philadelphia area as required
Train end users on hardware or software usage with empathy and patience
Provide quick solutions to user reported issues while also delivering service that yields high customer service satisfaction among the employees.

Requirements
Proficiency in PC Desktop - Workstation is required
Solid working knowledge of MS Windows 7 is essential
Must be adept at using MS Office Suite
Prior experience in a Help Desk Analyst role is preferred
Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to think critically
Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with team members and clients
Ability to work independently and in a team environment
Must be detail-oriented and able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
Excellent customer service skills are essential
Familiarity with ITIL processes would be advantageous
Ability to handle stressful situations in a calm and professional manner
Must have a proactive approach to troubleshooting and problem resolution
Good understanding of computer systems, mobile devices, and other tech products.
