Robert Half is Hiring a Grant Accountant Near Denver, CO

Robert Half has partnered with a great non-profit in Denver in search of a Grant Accountant! The Grant Accountant position is offering a generous benefits package, great work/life balance and is paying $65,000-$85,000!

The Grant Accountant will be responsible for the following:

  • Participates in organizations financial and business planning
  • Provide accounting controls over assets, liabilities, revenue, and expenses.
  • Control accounts receivable and payable
  • Control cash payments and credit arrangements
  • Preparing and/or overseeing budgets, financial reports, and statements detailing the status of the organization's position.
  • Posting, grants tracking, invoicing, and grant drawdowns
  • Performing frequent audits of all areas related to handling and documentation of funding.
  • Leading annual federal and financial audit
  • Coordinating end of month activities
  • Overseeing operations of the billing department

Requirements for the Grant Accountant include:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or related field
  • 3 years of accounting experience
  • Mid-large ERP experience

Preferred qualifications for the Grant Accountant include:

  • Non-profit accounting experience
  • Grant accounting experience
