Robert Half has partnered with a non-profit in Denver in search of a Grant Accountant! The Grant Accountant position is paying $85,000-$95,000, a hybrid work schedule, and a generous benefits package!
The Grant Accountant will be responsible for the following:
- Maintain general ledger and prepare monthly reconciliations of key general ledger accounts to ensure accuracy of balances.
- Assist in the month-end and year-end close processes.
- Perform the daily bank reconciliation and monthly reconciliations of cash accounts.
- Assist in the management of the company credit card program.
- Manage the accounts payable process, including grants, to ensure timely payment and vendor management.
- Develop and maintain a process of internal tracking and reporting on all impact investments.
- Support the annual financial audit activities and inquiries.
- Assists with special projects with the CFO.
Requirements for the Grant Accountant include:
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or Economics
- 3 years of accounting experience
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel
- Grant accounting experience (nice to have, not required)
- Non-profit accounting experience (nice to have, not required)
