Robert Half has partnered with a nation-wide professional services firm in Denver in search of a General Ledger Accountant! The General Ledger Accountant position is paying $80,000-$90,000 bonus and offering a hybrid work schedule!
The General Ledger Accountant will be responsible for the following:
- Maintains the firm’s financial ledgers and records financial data in a complex cash-based professional services environment. This includes reconciling cash and balance sheet accounts, creating and/or posting recurring and non-recurring journal entries and assembling supporting documentation.
- Prepares special financial reports and account analyses as needed and recommendations by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing account information and trends.
- Assists with preparation of the annual budget, including communication with various budget owners, accurate recording of adjustments to budget, and monitoring budget variances as assigned.
- Assists with the preparation of the firm’s monthly financial statements.
- Assists with the annual audit.
- Answers accounting and financial questions by researching and interpreting data.
- Supports the accounting requirements of special entities associated with the firm.
- Ad hoc reporting as needed.
Requirements for the General Ledger Accountant include:
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting
- 3 years of accounting experience
- Professional services/billable hours experience (preferred)
- CPA (preferred)
- Public accounting experience (preferred)
