Job Brief:We are seeking an accomplished and detail-oriented Executive Financial Controller to oversee the financial management of our esteemed Executive Air Charter Service firm. As the Financial Controller, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of financial operations, including corporate accounting, regulatory and financial reporting, budget preparation, and the development of internal control policies. The ideal candidate will bring extensive experience in financial risk management and a proven track record in maintaining strong internal controls.Responsibilities:Manage all accounting operations, including Billing, Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, General Ledger, Counsel, Cost Accounting, Inventory Accounting, and Revenue Recognition.Coordinate and direct the preparation of the budget and financial forecasts, and report variances to ensure financial stability and adherence to financial goals.Prepare and publish timely monthly financial statements, providing accurate insights into the financial health of the organization.Coordinate the preparation of regulatory reporting, ensuring compliance with industry standards and legal requirements.Research technical accounting issues to ensure compliance with relevant financial regulations and standards.Support the month-end and year-end close process, ensuring accuracy and timeliness in financial reporting.Ensure quality control over financial transactions and financial reporting, identifying and mitigating risks where necessary.Manage and comply with local, state, and federal government reporting requirements and tax filings.Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls.Undertake additional controller duties as necessary to support the financial health of the organization.
