This may be the role for you if you are an experienced Director of FP& A looking for a challenging role at an established company.What you get to do every single day- Own financial planning and budget management functions- Monitor and analyze monthly operating results against budget- Work with department managers to develop five-year business plans- Ensure adherence to budgetary reporting requirements, including local, state, and federal- Manage the hiring, training, and retention of finance staff- Analyze and monitor forecasting and budgeting models- Prepare financial analysis for contract negotiations and product investment decisions- Manage the preparation of all financial reports- Oversee insurance and risk management- Supervise all operations of the finance and accounting department- Recommend benchmarks for measuring the financial and operating performance- Assist in establishing short- and long-range departmental goals, objectives, policies, and operating procedures- Manage the preparation of financial outlooks and financial forecasts- Design, establish, and maintain an organizational structure to effectively accomplish the departments goals and objectives
