As they continue to expand our global presence, we are seeking a dynamic and experienced professional to join our team as the Director of Accounting.Division 1: Reporting and ConsolidationsResponsibilities:• Lead the financial reporting process, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulatory requirements.• Oversee the consolidation of financial statements for multiple entities across the globe.• Collaborate with regional finance teams to streamline reporting procedures and enhance efficiency.• Implement best practices for financial reporting and communicate changes to relevant stakeholders.• Stay abreast of accounting standards and ensure the company's adherence to them.Qualifications:• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA preferred.• Proven experience in financial reporting and consolidations at a global level.• Strong understanding of accounting principles and regulations.• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.• Ability to lead cross-functional teams and drive process improvements.Division 2: Internal Controls and ComplianceResponsibilities:• Develop and implement robust internal control processes to safeguard company assets.• Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulations.• Collaborate with internal and external audit teams to address findings and implement corrective actions.• Provide guidance and training to finance teams on compliance matters.• Monitor changes in regulations and update internal control procedures accordingly.Qualifications:• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA preferred.• Proven experience in designing and implementing internal control frameworks.• Familiarity with SOX compliance requirements.• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.• Ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.Division 3: Budgeting, Forecasting, and TreasuryResponsibilities:• Lead the budgeting and forecasting processes, collaborating with business units to develop accurate financial plans.• Manage the treasury function, optimizing cash flow and overseeing banking relationships.• Analyze financial data to provide insights into future financial performance.• Develop and implement strategies to mitigate financial risks.• Ensure compliance with treasury policies and procedures.Reporting Structure: The Director of Accounting will report directly to the Americas CFO, playing a crucial role in the financial leadership team.If you are a results-driven finance professional with a passion for leading global accounting functions, we invite you to apply to join this dynamic team.For immediate and confidential consideration please apply today!
