Job Details

Description
We are seeking a Desktop Support Analyst, based in Kansas City MO. This role is a contract-to-hire opportunity in the telecom industry, where you will be responsible for providing technical assistance, including the setup and maintenance of computer systems and networks.
Responsibilities:
Provide technical assistance and support for incoming queries and issues related to computer systems, software, and hardware.
Install, modify, and repair computer hardware and software.
Resolve technical problems with Local Area Networks (LAN), Wide Area Networks (WAN), and other systems.
Configure and deploy new desktop systems and peripherals.
Maintain a thorough understanding of the basics behind the Internet and its workings (DNS, Security, IP Routing, HTTP, VPN, Email Routing, SPAM, etc.)
Have hands-on experience with Citrix Technologies, Dell Technologies, EO/IR systems, Mac Computers, Microsoft, Active Directory, Computer Hardware, Configuration Management, and Deployments.
Provide technical support related to the Deskside Support function.
Develop and maintain thorough documentation for all desktop support activities.
Collaborate with team members to identify and solve trending issues.
Maintain confidentiality and observe data protection and associated guidelines where appropriate.
Requirements
Proficiency in Citrix Technologies and Dell Technologies is required.
Experience with EO/IR systems is essential.
Familiarity with Mac Computers is a must.
Strong knowledge of Microsoft suite and Active Directory is necessary.
Ability to troubleshoot and repair Computer Hardware is essential.
Experience in Configuration Management is required.
Demonstrated capability in Deployments is a must.
Proven experience in Deskside Support is essential.
Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically.
Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively.
Familiarity with IT industry standards and best practices.
Relevant certification or degree in a related field is preferred.
Willingness to stay updated with the latest technology and industry trends.
